Mary McCormack, an American actress, is most well-known for her role as the main character in TV shows such as "The West Wing, 'In Plain Sight,' as well as Loaded.' Also known for her roles in films that she's appeared on, including "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack is a native of Connecticut, born in a home without any entertainment connection at all in her family tree was the daughter of a clinical therapy professional and the owner of an Ice Cream Shop. She went to Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the separation from her parents around the year 1990, went on to attend Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and eventually graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in comparative arts. At the age of 12 the stage journey began by performing in "Amahl and the Night Visitor", a holiday opera. She continued performing in the theatre before landing a role in films both small and big. Today, McCormack is recognized as one of the most flexible artistes in Hollywood. McCormack is married to director/producer Michael Morris and has three children.
