Mary McCormack

Mary McCormack was an American actress, best known for her performances in the lead role of a TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Her other roles include her movie roles in "Private Parts", "Deep Impact', 'True crime" and "1408". Her parents were a therapy practitioner and an ice-cream proprietor, McCormack hails from a family without any direct connections to the industry of entertainment. When her parents separated in 1990, she went to Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut graduating with an undergraduate degree in the field of Comparative Arts. Her professional career started when she was just twelve when she was a part of a stage production of a Christmas opera titled 'Amahl and The Night Visitor'. She performed in theater, eventually landing roles both on the screen with a small size and on the large. McCormack is today regarded as one of the most versatile Hollywood actors.
